Cosmetics and Server Ranks

What are they?
Our in-game cosmetics are a way to decorate yourself and show off to your friends! Cosmetics are purely decorative and provide no gameplay benefit.

There are free, unlockable cosmetics and paid cosmetics to those who wish to show support to the server! These include:
- nicknames
- titles
- player particles
- item skins
- item particles & sounds
- join/leave messages
and more! You can find a list of our paid cosmetics and server ranks through our in-game /prismsshop.

Obtaining and Applying
Players can nickname themselves freely by crouch + right-clicking on an anvil! Ranked players can customize their names with colors, gradients, bold, italics, and even shadowed names! This is done by putting colors, bolds, and so on in angle brackets before their name. Visit https://docs.papermc.io/adventure/minimessage/format/ for in-depth guidance. Titles can be obtained through achieving minecraft advancements or by purchase, and can be applied by crouch + right-clicking a nametag on an anvil. Join/leave messages and player particles are purely through purchasing, and can be applied by crouch + right-clicking a paper or glow ink sac on an anvil.

Item skins and particles are applied differently. They can only be applied on netherite items, bows, crossbows, maces, and fishing rods. Additionally, you must craft a "Tool Finishing Upgrade", and combining the upgrade, the tool, and an eye of ender. Afterwards, just crouch + right-click the tool on an anvil to pull up a menu to freely equip item skins, particles and sounds! These are not player transferrable, and are permanently unlocked for the player to repeatedly use. Below is the recipe of the Tool Finishing Upgrade recipe. Server Ranks
Ranks are purely cosmetic based on SMP, but provide fun perks! These are permanent and server-wide, so purchasing it on SMP will transfer over to our other gamemodes, and vise-versa, along with gamemode specific perks. Interested in supporting the server?
